ORENG incubation centre

Oreng is the India’s first incubation center based start up company which concentrated on software and electronics based projects. The oreng incubation center was started in our campus in the month of august 2016. From final years by conducting a base line test and 15 to 20 students will be selected and trained parallel to the final year B.Tech course within the college. The training will be monitored by the company representative and Internal incubation central coordinator. For the best performance student they will be provide stipend during the training period after successful completion of incubation period the candidates observe into company payroles

Central Library

Thandra Paparaya institute of Science and Technology has got a spacious library which is working from 8AM to 7PM in all working days. Thousands of books related to Science and Humanities, Engineering & Technology and Management areas, National and International Journals, a large number of magazines are the main highlights of the library. Library is provided with high speed internet connection with numerous terminals thereby assisting the faculty and students to access DELNET and NPTEL courses ,online journals and Technology updates. The spacious library can also used for self study for the hostlers and day scholars.

  1. Preparation of basic models of di-copter, try copter ,quad copter and hex copter.
  2. Implementation of different sensors on various copters for societal and defense applications
  3. Encourage student towards innovative application of quad copter.

 Green Energy Club( Associated with Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics ,civil and computer science department)

Areas of Concentration:

  1. Utilization of energy recourses such as bio diesels, energy from micro algae and other non edible vegetable oils.
  2. Utilization of solar and wind energy for the campus lighting and auto mobile applications
  3. Utilization of green building material for the energy saving.

  • MATLAB(Matrix Laboratory) is a high level technical computing language and interactive environment for algorithm development ,data visualization ,data analysis ,and numeric computation.
  • Electrical engineering courses are featured on combination of strong and weak electricity and take account into the specialized knowledge of the both.
  • In the design of electricity tests and new products, it will significantly increase the complexity of test system and decrease teaching efficiency if adopting the real physical model design.
  • While if simulating the real conditions by computers, it will achieve the effect that real tests don't have. Therefore, for the electrical engineering major, computer simulation plays a very important role.
  • MATLAB has various tool bags and functional modules, including many corresponding electricity equipment models, which can achieve the analysis and design of motor speed control and electricity system, etc.

NSS

The main aim of National Service Scheme is personality development through social service or community service. This programme is to inculcate the social welfare thoughts in the students, and to provide service to the society without any prejudice. NSS volunteers work hard day and night to ensure that every one in our society who is needy gets the every possible help from them so that they can also enhance their standards and lead a life of dignity in the society with all of us. In doing so the volunteers themselves learn a lot from the people in villages like how to struggle and how to lead a happy life in the extreme scarcity of resources and so on. Another aim is personality development through social service.
